A Short Adventure at Camiguin Island

So, this entry is quite overdue as my escapade at Camiguin Island already happened last 30th and 31th of October. Nonetheless, I know I must blog it still as I can truly say I did have fun at this popular tourist attraction in Mindanao.

Here’s a short trivia about Camiguin. It is an island province of the Philippines located in the Bohol Sea, about 10 km (6.2 mi) off the northern coast of Misamis Oriental in Mindanao. It is the second-smallest province both in population and land area after Batanes. The capital of the province is Mambajao, and it is a part of the Northern Mindanao Region of the Philippines.

How to get there? You can travel by air or sea depending on your origin. Visit this link here for more details.  Read more of this post

Why You Should Use RSS

I ♥ the web. Well, who doesn’t? One way of keeping us updated with our popular sites and blogs is through RSS feeds.

RSS (Rich Site Summary) is a format for delivering regularly changing web content. Many news-related sites, weblogs and other online publishers syndicate their content as an RSS Feed to whoever wants it.

RSS solves a problem for people who regularly use the web. It allows you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the sites you are interested in. You save time by not needing to visit each site individually. You ensure your privacy, by not needing to join each site’s email newsletter. The number of sites offering RSS feeds is growing rapidly and includes big names like Yahoo News.

Kagay-an Fiesta

Everyone loves fiesta, especially us, Filipinos. I must say that the most fun part of it is feeding our tummies (LOL!). In my native hometown, Cagayan de Oro, we celebrate the city fiesta by the month of August. St. Augustine, is the patron saint and the Kagay-anons celebrates his feast day every 28th.

Below is the official schedule for the Kagay-an Festival core events.

Of course, there’s gonna be mall-wide sale, which will surely entice all shoppers. Children and adults alike should also visit the Mary Rose Carnival at Limketkai Center to experience some of its adrenaline-rushy rides!

To all my fellow Kagay-anons, let’s all support the core events. Have a great fiesta ahead!

Meanwhile, below are some of the photos happening in the city during the festivities.

Travel in Cagayan de Oro

Summer is just around the corner! I, for one, can’t wait to have a summer get-away pretty, pretty soon! Being a Kagay-anon, I must admit I must be able to experience White Water Rafting and the newest adrenaline-rush tourist destination, Jatico Adventures! The latter is very much interesting since it caters the following: Zipline, Big Swing, Boot Camp, Bungee Trampoline and Zorb! How cool is that? Super!

Will write a follow-up blog about this as soon as I have explored them all!
