The Benefits of Coffee


A lot of us are coffeeholic (raise your foot if you’re guilty!) I usually drink coffee about two cups daily, or make that up to three if I have to. That is, at certain times only.
It’s a good thing to drink regularly. Known as a good source of antioxidants, here are the health benefits of coffee:
  • Protects against breast cancer
  • Wards off stroke
  • Reduces risk of diabetes
  • Improves brain function
  • Reduces prostate cancer risk

However, excessive coffee-intake can cause insomnia, stomach upset, muscle tremors and restlessness. So you might as well control the addiction.

C’est la vie

Apparently, the remaining days of my stay in Makro (Pilipinas Makro, Inc.) has almost reached the finish line. Seeing one of the scenes from the store’s premises, I could just somehow feel the nostalgia in the near future.

New Zodiac Signs

I recently knew via reading tweets and shared posts or statuses that there is this so-called 13th Zodiac sign. So, my being a Gemini turned out to be a Taurus already. Well, it does sound strange to me at first, but when I asked myself, “Seriously, are you that affected?” My answer went like, “Well, not quite, actually.”

Honestly, I’m not fond of reading my daily horoscope, that’s why. I’m just kind of type of person who lets go of every single thing, per se.

Happy New Year 2011!

An hour ago year 2010 has just passed us by. I must admit, last year indeed has paved my way with quite a handful of things, significant people (including new friends and/or enemies), moments worth to be cherished, and of course some issues or impediments we all can relate to, in one way or another.
